About Me

I am a New York-based employment attorney, mediator, and author who focuses on resolving workplace disputes through mediation and other informal resolution techniques. Work is universal. Everyone has a job, has had a job, or knows someone with a job. It has great potential to be more than just a source of income.

Employment is a partnership in the pursuit of mutually beneficial goals.

My insights are shaped by my diverse experiences in management over the past three decades, two of which have been in my own law practice. Since 1989, I have worked in operations and Human Resources at UPS, three minor league sports franchises, and a litigation firm in the Wall Street District of Manhattan. I am also influenced by my participation in team sports like college softball and  personal traumas that slowed me down but did not stop me.

In addition to my J.D. and B.S., I am certified in employment and ethno-religious mediation and I served for two years as the Main Representative to the United Nations for the International Center for Ethno-Religious Mediation.

Currently, I assist journalists and podcasters with content on topics such as conflict resolution, mediation, workplace disputes, domestic employment, independent contractors, and polyvictimization.
